Deluxe Experiences is a complimentary internet based service from Track Entertainment that makes arranging experiences such as parties, events, and nights out at restaurants, nightclubs, and bars easy and hassle free. Created by experienced event planners, Deluxe allows you to make your occasions uniquely yours through creative personalization and venue selection. TisF recently caught up with one of the founders, Alan Philips.
What is your idea of Fabulous?
AP: Fabulous is someone or something that gives you a positive emotional response, inspires you, and is of the moment. It is not young or old, it is about embracing life and doing you. If you are going to do something do it all the way or dont do it at all.
Who is the most Fabulous person you know?
AP: My girlfriend Alexia Aidan. She has exacting standards for quality and a joie de vivre. If she desires something you can be sure to hear about how spectacular glamorous, and fabulous it is somewhere very soon.
Which Fabulous word do you use most?
AP: Glamourous. To be fabulous without being Glamourous is not that fabulous.
What is your greatest (most Fabulous) extravagance?
AP: I am all about experiences, travel, food, wine. The slogan for my company Deluxe Experiences is Live Big, it means do everything to its fullest extent. For example. Travel to Venice and the Venitian just wont do. Try a pasta sauce with just picked basil and heirloom tomatoes, you will never eat Prego again. Incredible buffalo mozzarella or a sip Chateau Petrus while sitting by the beach, these experiences are what make life fabulous.
Where would you like or prefer to live your Fabulous life?
AP: If I could live my life on the beach in the Hamptons or in my own villa in Tuscany with great food, wine, and family that would be exquisitely fabulous. For now I would settle for a 5000 square foot loft in Tribeca, close enough to the West Village and Soho to walk for breakfast.
What do you consider your greatest (most Fabulous) achievement?
AP: I think I would have to go with the fact that I have never had to work for anyone else as an employee in my career. How can you be fabulous without being able to control your own destiny and embrace your creative ideals. I wake up every day and it is like a fabulous new adventure.
What is your (Fabulous) motto?
AP: It is the same as my new website DeluxeXP.com. LIVE BIG
