PatriciaDealorNodealTisF spends Five Fabulous Minutes with Patricia Kara.

With a starring role as one of the beautiful spokes models on the primetime and daytime versions of NBC's Deal or No Deal, Patricia Kara has been afforded the notoriety and popularity that comes with being on two hit television shows.  Her selection, along with her costars, as one of People's "100 Most Beautiful People" and her starring role in Trace Adkins' new hit country music video "Marry for Money" have increased her visibility, but ultimately, it is her multifaceted approach, hard work, and dedication to the entertainment industry that will keep fans tuning in to her career for many years to come.

In addition to Deal or No Deal, Patricia Kara (aka Trisha Kara) has worked as a special correspondent on Extra, Fox Movie Channel and Celebtv.  Some of her other appearances include: the TV Guide Channel, the red carpet at the Catherine Zeta-Jones Benefit for the Motion Picture and Television Fund, E! Entertainment's Wild On: Kentucky Derby, and the U.S. Surf Open.  Proform Core Master and AbCoaster also utilized Patricia's hosting skills in their nationally televised advertisements.  Theatrically, Patricia appeared in the short film Two-Eleven, which has been in several prestigious film festivals since its release.  She has also guest starred in hit shows such as Days of Our Lives, NBC's Las Vegas, All of Us, Passions, Mad TV, and The Young and the Restless. She has appeared in commercials for companies like Coors Light, Old Navy, Bally's Fitness, Kohl's, Ericsson Mobile and V8.

Charitably, Patricia has been involved with the Make a Wish Foundation, the Elizabeth Glazer Pediatric AIDS Foundation, the Salvation Army, the American Heart Association, Read Across America, Women for Women International, the Tiger Woods Foundation, and the Dennis Quaid Foundation.

PK2Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Patricia's attraction to the entertainment industry began when she was a teenager.  Since then, her career has allowed her to live and travel all over the world.  Besides visiting family and her native Greece, Patricia uses her time away from work and charity to expand her horizons.  The performing arts, outdoor action sports, world travel, photography, and exercise are just a few of the additional interests that round out this free-spirited beauty.

TisF followed up with Patricia during her recent visit to Chicago!

What is your idea of Fabulous?
PK: My idea of Fabulous is balance.  It is an amazing feeling to have life, love, health, family, work and all the little things that surround me balanced out to the point that each one is getting their fair share and nothing is being neglected.  It takes a lot of effort and focus, but having the machine that is me firing on all cylinders is my truest definition of Fabulous for me!

Who is the most Fabulous person you know?

PK: Basing my selection on the definition that I just supplied for Fabulous, makes answering this question with just one name really difficult  It is impossible to pretend to know all the ins and outs of someone's private life, and to be able to judge how together they have it personally.  But I think in every aspect of my own life there are people out there that supply inspiration to me and help motivate me to be better at all the things that matter most.  It varies and often times surprises me where my inspiration comes from, but I never hesitate to thank all those people responsible for keeping me headed down my path.

Which Fabulous word do you use most?
PK: The Greek word for kisses...filakia, what is more fabulous than a kiss!

What is your greatest (most Fabulous) extravagance?
PK: Foot massages, without a doubt in my mind, I live in heels and my feet take a beating, so I like to treat them as best as I can as often as I can!

Where would you like or prefer to live your Fabulous life?

PK: I love New York and Los Angeles and would love to bounce back and forth between the two, maybe a summer and winter thing, it would just depend on how the weather was treating me on the right or left coast!

What do you consider your greatest (most Fabulous) achievement?
PK: Sticking with and finding success in the entertainment business for as long as I have is my favorite.  This is a REALLY tough business and it is hard to get to a level where you can ever comfortably say, "I made it!"  So, just being able to make a living and enjoy all the things that I have in my life, thanks to this business, is an outstanding achievement to me.

What is your (Fabulous) motto?
PK: "It is what it is..."

Trish is truly Fabulous!
