TisF spends Five Fabulous Minutes with Photographer Constance K.
Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Constance received her first camera at the age of 16 from her father. Her father’s father was a portrait photographer back in the “old country.” Fascinated by her family’s history, Constance has spent a great deal capturing the real human emotion of those who have left an impression on the young photographer. Her ability to connect with her subjects through her lens allows her to express the raw feeling of what and who she shoots. Capturing not only a portrait but also telling a story.
What is your idea of Fabulous?
CK: Being able to seek out your dreams and make them a reality is
fabulous... Working with people that teach me something new about them
or myself is fabulous... and being a woman is fabulous!
Who is the most Fabulous person you know?
CK: Cross out “is” and put “are” and you have My fabulous and most
supportive fans... Janet and Mary... These two women are fabulous
because they are constantly searching for new ideas that not only
challenge their minds but also those around them...
I owe them many thanks for believing in me and when I publish my first
book of works..I will dedicate it to them!
Which Fabulous word do you use most?
CK: hmmmmmm I say amazing and awesome just about every other word.
What is your greatest (most Fabulous) extravagance?
CK: Caesar.. He is the fanciest thing I got!
(Caesar is my blue point Himalayan cat)
Where would you like or prefer to live your Fabulous life?
CK: Anywhere would be fabulous as long as Caesar is there.
What do you consider your greatest (most Fabulous) achievement?
CK: I would have to say submitting my work to the look look photography
contest and being chosen as a winner was the best!
