TisF spends Five Fabulous Minutes with the Founder of Suresh Beauty.

Suresh Beauty was established in 2002. The company offers customized makeup and hair services along with a growing brand of prestige cosmetics. Specializing in professional makeup and hair artistry for commercial and fashion clients, services also include private makeup lessons, occasion makeup artistry, men's grooming, blow-dry lessons, and professional hair styling for private clients.

Suresh Beauty is headed by Suresh Seneviratne who serves as principal makeup artist. He holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Washington in Seattle along with tailoring and design skills acquired from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. During his ten years in the beauty industry he has received local and international recognition for his superb artistry skills and gentle hand from clients in Asia, Europe and the Americas. He has worked on numerous runway shows and photo sets in New York, Seattle, and Los Angeles for esteemed companies such as Richard Tyler, Oscar de La Renta, and Nordstrom. Among his many hundreds of clients, he has attended to the faces of recording artist Alex Young, model Lauren Bush, and the legendary chanteuse, Etta James. In addition to being a beauty guru, Suresh is an active PETA member and a dedicated vegetarian. He continues to look for fur, leather and animal by-product alternatives.

Suresh Beauty launched a boutique collection of eco-conscious lip gloss in the fall of 2008. Along with a completely vegetarian composition, glossLUXE combines multifaceted pigment with state-of-the-art polymer technology to produce sheer, sparkling color. Brilliant flecks of finely crushed pearls and gemstones provide luster. Rich, nourishing oils soothe and protect. A luxurious antioxidant complex together with beneficial vitamin E provides luscious moisture to the lips, leaving an unforgettably delicious, buttery texture.  GlossLUXE is tasteless, fragrance-free, and non-greasy. It is also Paraben-free, hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, and provides an SPF of 8. GlossLUXE is proudly made in the USA and all parts of the packaging are recyclable. Suresh named each color after important women in his life. The colors were chosen by their namesakes and reflect a wide variety of different ethnic backgrounds and personalities.

Plans for Suresh Beauty include opening lush studios in New York, Seattle, Miami, and Los Angeles. These studios will serve as the ultimate stop in contemporary luxury offering services such as professional makeup and hair artistry, eyelash extensions, brow grooming, and nail services. The Suresh Beauty product collection is slated to grow over the coming years to encompass a luxe collection of eye color and skin products.

The Suresh Beauty Artistry Team includes hair designer Anna Schneider, makeup artist Heather Roddy, makeup artist Lesley Lancaster, and hair designer Meghann Oliberos. These superbly talented artists possess many years of valued industry experience and have been hand-selected by Suresh to ensure that each client receives the ultimate Suresh Beauty experience.
