TisF recently followed up with the creative founder of CBP, Philippe Baltz Nielsen.
Philippe says "it wasn't really an idea, It was just something he did as a hobby." He enjoyed communicating with people and has lots of friends, so he joined all his friends in a group and called it "Circle of Beautiful People," CBP for short, because that's what they are. Some are beautiful on the outside, some on the inside but most of his friends fill both categories and it took off from there.
"Today I have 19.500 unopened e-mails in my Facebook inbox." Philippe's personal Facebook is now full, no one is supposed to have more than 5.000 friends! Perhaps he doesn't know them all personally but yet he connects through correspondence.
He divided his friends from all over the world in new groups in other countries. It exploded again. Philippe says "People just love this simple idea, it relates to something deep inside us. I can't explain it but I feel this growing energy rising beneath us.
