TisF Finds a Rock-N-Roll Designer!

Maria Patelis was born in Corfu and later moved to Athens to follow her passion...to learn about the fashion industry. She began studying fashion and costume design, when she decided to go to Paris to complete her studies in styling, clothing design, accessories and shoe manufacturing at the famous and acclaimed Fashion School, ESMOD.  She returned to Athens to complete an internship with another young, rising fashion designer, Sotiris Georgiou from August 2009 to January 2010.

In March 2010 she launched her own line, and soon after, her first collection debuted for 'Spring/Summer 2011 titled: "TOMBOY IN HEELS."

Her designs are featured in editorials and magazine covers in Greece and Cyprus. Celebrities, TV & Music stars like Despina Vandi, Tamta, Zeta Makripoulia, Aggeliki Iliadi, Shaya appear in Maria Patelis designs.

What is your idea of Fabulous?
MP: Fabulous is the Summer by the sea with my friends, music and many many smiles!!

Who is the most Fabulous person you know?
MP: My mum, any time I need her, the next minute she is on a plane to Athens..!

Which Fabulous word do you use most?
MP: Divine and Fabulous!!i don't know why but I love these two words..!

What is your greatest (most Fabulous) extravagance?
MP: I can't think of only one..Living my life with no limits!!

Where would you like or prefer to live your Fabulous life?
MP: Paris, the center of the fashion world !!!

What do you consider your greatest (most Fabulous) achievement?
MP: Working around and with fabulous people and living the dream with my job.

What is your (Fabulous) motto?
MP: It's now or never!!
